Initial ideas

Title
-British Music Experience- I chose this title because it represents that my magazine will be about British music
-BME- I like this title because it is the initials of the title before and also some successful music magazines only use the initials of the title and some audiences like a short title
-Brit tunes- this title is also to show that this is a British magazine but I don’t think it is as successful as the previous two
-New wave- I like this title because it shows this magazine is a new magazine and has a cool name which I think will connect to my target audience
-Music Express- this title is a plan music title telling the audience that this magazine is a specifically for music

Images
-Large main image
-Small Polaroid’s dotted around
-Large Polaroid’s dotted around
-Images overlapping text
-Letters of titles made from an image

All the image plans I have chosen are different ideas I want to use for all my pages of my magazine. I really like all these image plans and I could hopefully be used throughout my magazine, but for my front cover I would only want to use one or two different plans so the cover wont look cluttered.

Stories
-This week’s top 10
-Interview with a well-known band\artist
-New bands
-New upcoming British artist/band
-Tour dates and reviews

I chose these stories because I think these will the best stories for my chosen target audience. These stories are in most successful music magazines so I would like to also have a successful music magazine.

Fonts
- Arial Black
- Comic Sans MS
- Berlin Sans FB Demi
- Broadway
- Old English Text MT

I have chosen all these different fonts to use for my text for use in all the pages of my magazine. I have chosen Arial black because it is a bold text and it would be easy to read. I have chosen Comic sans because it is a fun text and my target audience would like this text the best. I have also chosen Berlin sans because it is a thinner bold to Arial black. I have also picked Broadway and Old English text because they are both odd texts that I think my target audience, and makes my magazine look weird.

Colours
-Red, black and white
-Green and blue
-Green, white and red
-Red, white and blue
-Black and white

For my colour scheme of my magazine I have thought of five different colour schemes that I think would look good on my magazine. I have tried to use colours that would make each different colour stand out more. With my colours I prefer the red, black and white scheme because I think it would attract my target audience more, but I don’t really like green, white and red because I think it is a odd mix of colours and I don’t think my audience will like it either.
